WHITING & DAVIS - EUC White Metal Mesh (Chainmail) Clutch/Crossbody/Shoulder Bag

These bags fascinate me and have since I got my first vintage W&D bag back in the 70s. Whiting & Davis white metal mesh convertible clutch/crossbody/shoulder bag with leather trim. She’s 7.5” x 5.5” x 2”, with a thin leather strap fixed at 20”. The strap can be tucked in to carry as a clutch. Half-flap top entry with magnetic snap closure. The super-sturdy flap opens to reveal a leather-trimmed mirror and gray fabric lining with a zippered compartment and metal Whiting & Davis logo patch.  White leather trim on the sides of the bag, strap and under the flap surrounding the mirror. This chainmail bag is in extraordinary condition, and there are absolutely no callouts - no missing metal, no scratches, stains or wear. And she’s solid white. This company has been in business for over 120 years and holds patents on this type of mesh metal bags. A really special bag in extraordinary condition! ♥️
