WHITING & DAVIS CO - Antique / Rare - Silver Mesh Purse Rhinestone Clasp

This antique and rare WHITING & DAVIS CO purse is from the 1960's. It features silver-tone metal mesh, a rhinestone clasp and a silver snake chain strap. The purse can also be worn as a clutch. The interior is lined in ivory white fabric. Made in the USA. Height: 4 in Width: 7.5 in Depth: 0.5 in Strap drop: 5.25 in All measurements are best approximations. Flaws observed: 1) Silver-tone ring connecting the snake chain to the purse has oxidized. 2) There is oxidation and scuff marks on the exterior from use, and upon inspection, more visible on the bottom corners of the purse. 3) The adhesive under the rhinestones has yellowed. 4) The interior white fabric has yellowed in areas near the opening. However, the metal mesh & hardware is still very shiny & without oxidation in most places. Please see all photos.
