@amandastarich hi there:) the material content is 90% poly/ 10% cotton. The lapel shearling lapel is detachable, if u wanted to wear w/ or without, the shearling does not run thru the coat, if I'm understanding your question correctly? These are a heavier coat, I kept 1 & wear it 30° & below

So if you have it on, buttoned & tied- the shearling sits right across your chest / neck area, and still have room for a scarf. Definitely warm & these are hand wash cold ( I'd recommend dry cleaning only). If you have anymore Q's, please tag my username so I don't any comments from you:) thank you
