WE DID IT! We completed the Full Marathon!

We did it! Jake and I completed the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, San Diego! I now have a medal from 1998 which was the first Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon - I was 31 years old then. Doing this event again has been on my bucket list for a long time. I got it out of my system yesterday at age 56! Approximately 19,000 people started the race. At the Half and Full split, only 5,000 went on to do the Full, Jake and I included. 4,440 finished the Full in time to medal. I ended up 4,412 overall. It was a brutal course and I made it!! Jake and I also raised money for St. Jude’s. In 1998 I raised money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
