shopofthemoment @oneinamillionjj It's not a compliant item. If it were a wearable, then it's all good. Like cuff links are a true accessory. A pen is a pen is a pen. If you have to make up a story about how it could be compliant it's probably not a good idea to list it. Brand new updated compliance policy can be found here: https://poshmark.com/prohibited_items_policy While it doesn't specifically say no pens, it does say non-fashion men's items are not allowed. shopofthemoment @oneinamillionjj makeup brushes help you "wear" makeup. So they're makeup tools. They have their own spot to be listed as you said. That's exactly why most of what is non PC is listed in the "other" category. Nowhere else to put it. So if there's no category and it's not a fashion item, it's almost always non PC.

oneinamillionjj @justta Are you talking about the list of names above? Each name on that list has a game in their closet that helps anyone who wants to play, gain followers. Try going to @gainfollowers ⬅ click on the name. Once there, that's the head of the games (also where I co-admin) In the 1st listing is our actual game. In the comments is where u can find the daily super poshers. Click on each one, share 5 items, then go into their FOLLOWERS & follow everyone. U can ask more questions there if needed

Make sure to share them into their correct parties too (men's fashion, date night etc, where ever they fit) I share my entire closet at least once/day (that's 700+ items) although there are days when I get it done 2 or 3 times.

oneinamillionjj @heidy0622 oh ok. You can use this one - since it changes quite frequently, most do use this one. The only slide that I was suggesting you make was the 2nd one that explains things. We usually just tell ppl to have it read similar to ours, but change up the wording to fit your theme.

I started exactly 10 months ago & have gained 140k followers! So definitely check out @gainfollowers We made that acct just for the game. The 1st listing is the game. Above is a list of the other games on the team (or you can find direct links on our @gainfollowers game) We want to make sure we don't duplicate themes within the team bcuz it confuses the players. oneinamillionjj @jodisjewelry Lol no worries .. we don't have a dog/puppy game so that would work if u decided to go with that. I usually tell ppl to think of their interests & go from there. @katewaz & I could always have a brainstorming session with u too if u wanted. Basically once u have ur theme, u find a cover graphic u like, think of a title & sign up phrase. Once all thats decided, that's your cover. The 2nd pic explains the objective/instructions & the 3rd is usually the team slide.

Cover: cover photo, title, SUPER POSHER FOLLOW GAME & sign up phrase (optional) 2nd slide: Objective/directions - you can use ours @gainfollowers as a guideline, just change up the wording to fit your theme. & Sign up phrase if not on 1st slide - sometimes having it twice is good cuz ppl do not read. Lol

oneinamillionjj @jodisjewelry Reason being, usually when the word "game" is in the title it flags Posh & they deactivate the price drop 😵 It's hit or miss lately. We usually avoid it altogether. Oh & CPL other things. The entire team features a Team SP each day, which is the SP at gainfollowers, then u also choose a cpl of ur own to feature too. Once your game is together, we'll tag the team & introduce you. Then we announce u via price drop at gainfollowers & tell ppl to sign up.

We mostly do it in case something needs to be fixed on the slide & so the team is the 1st to know about a new member. The gainfollowers closet is just for our game, altho I try to keep at least 1 for sale item up so it's a legit closet & posh doesn't pull it down.

We're all always promoting each other .. 😉 We feature in the order signed up (the SP is usually sought out bcuz it needs lots of followers) As for ur game, u can do sign up order, by who shows the most posh spirit, or check their followers & feature who has the most blue buttons.

The lists you see ppl posting are they're tag lists (names of their posh friends who want to be tagged in games, sales, etc) So you can pay no mind to them. Each day when you see the price drop notification come thru from gainfollowers - you scroll down to find the current date & 5 featured SP/BSP. Follow them if you aren't already, share a min of 5 from each closet. Then go into their Followers & follow everyone

oneinamillionjj @randeeh1 Hi! Actually pretty much anyone can become a host of one of these games. Our only requirement to join the team is that your closet be posh compliant. We don't select ppl to run games. If/when ppl are interested in running a super posher game they usually will show interest & ask questions, just as you are. So basically the only thing you'd prob want to know about the team upfront is gainfollowers is considered the head game & the SP in our game gets featured in each of the individual games as well as the Team SP, then you also feature a cpl of your own choices/sign ups. You'll want to think of a theme for your game. You can choose anything you want as long as it doesn't duplicate something already on our team.

You don't have poshcoffeesnob listed, but she is closed until Oct (just wanted to make sure that's why she wasn't listed) & cwillows game is actually closed until Oct too. You can continue to tag daily stating temp closed or take the names out for the time being. Up to you. We just don't want players searching for closed games is why I opt'd to remove names until the return date.

oneinamillionjj @bell1971 If the only income for a family of 3 is your disability .. Have you guys looked into getting food support from the state? (There are a few names for it, ebt, snap or food stamps) I know that each state has diff income requirements but you must qualify. ? I would def look into that .. Even if it wasn't a full monthly food grant (which I think is like $400-500 for 3) it'd be better than nothing. Having a child in the home is usually what qualifies most families.

I am disabled for a reason or trust me. I would work 60 hrs a week. My husband is back to work now but not making the kind of money he was !! I believe that I was speaking with u the other day on that game explaining how it all worked. 500k is quite the # but it is attainable if u diligently do the following every day. I started 6/23/17 with 27k & currently I'm about to hit 260k .. to give u an idea but I only follow along with our game. If someone had the time to play many games/do the following they would see a bigger results than mine

Usually when someone is interested in joining the team they would come to us & we'd walk them thru picking a game theme & set up. oneinamillionjj @faithoverfear07 Hey there .. I guess I'm confused as to what you're asking me? This is the team sign that goes in with your game slides. If you want to "share" the team you would need to actually share each game otherwise if you're talking about the tag that everyone does when they post - I've seen you do that, so all is ok.

faithoverfear07 @oneinamillionjj It won’t send notifications if I raise the price high. I usually have to drop the price to like $1,000 and keep lowering in order for it to send notifications. I’m not sure why it’s doing that because I’ve seen others with high prices and it sends their notifications but I’ll do what I have to to get them out . Thank you for all your help 😘

oneinamillionjj @faithoverfear07 Oh yeah you can't reaise the price, only drop it for notifications. Most ppl start out with a high # on their game listing & then keep dropping from there. Since we rarely drop more than once/day we don't set ours too high & it's enuf to get us thru until comments fill . You're welcome!

oneinamillionjj @kidzfamily Hi, it takes 600 comments to fill up a listing. It used to be harder & you could only see comment count from a desktop computer or web based site but now you can see it in the app as well. Top right corner of each listing. There's a heart that tells u how many likes & a speech bubble telling u comments.

oneinamillionjj @rebeccasrack Hey there, no problem. Unfortunately no, there is no way to organize your closet other than sharing the item to get it to move. That's why you'll see many closets just have everything, everywhere. There's something to that though as well. Some think it'll increase their sales bcuz ppl have to actually look at each & every item to find what they're looking for & something may catch their eye vs an organized closet & being able to skip over the items they don't want to look at.

I personally don't refer to them as "new to you blues" bcuz it just sounds odd, but what they are is .. when you're not following someone, their follow button will be blue when you look at it. Then once you are following them it'll be white. Since the object of the game is to gain followers, you're seeking out ppl you aren't following to follow.

oneinamillionjj @rebeccasrack They in turn follow you back increasing your followers & the exposure your items get when you share them. The specific ppl you should be following is the followers of that days featured poshers. Hopefully that helps make more sense. Lmk if u have any other questions.

All the games are good, but what was being referred to above is, when my coadmin Kate & I 1st found games we helped work on the 1st game of this kind to come out & let's just say things took a turn for the worse, so we left & started gainfollowers.

oneinamillionjj @tstaggs1975 Some game hosts came with us & some didn't. The ones that didn't, would've been considered the inferior ones. This was all about 2yrs ago tho, so is water under the bridge now. If you want to get the max benefit while still cutting back on games, my suggestion would be to play the head game for the different teams. Or if there's some specific ones you really like, keep those & get rid of some of the others from the same team.

I believe if you start from your closet view & click on ABOUT up by your picture it brings you to the start up section where you can click on edit & it asks which listing you want to be your Meet the Posher. hope that helps

You could go follow the acct & like the listing & you'll prob get followers just from that bcuz I know others do the same. Otherwise to play along there are directions in the photos over there, but basically ppl sign up bcuz they want to have their closet featured for a day

I co-admin the daily follow game @gainfollowers We've found that following others 1st is a very quick way to increase your following. My initial monthly growth is also shown above as well.

oneinamillionjj @crunyon037 In just under 3yrs my followers have grown from 28.5k to the almost 450k it's at now all by remembering to do some following myself. The games help bcuz you don't have to search for others to follow not knowing if they're an active acct or if they'll follow back. You're more than welcome to come play if you like. Even if you just want to share & not follow that's ok too, I know there are others that do that as well.

Sry if that got confusing .. I've been co-hosting our game almost as long as my whole following journey so I kinda understand the whole thing inside & out. Our game is also the head of a team of prob 20ish other games hosted by women (Altho I think only about 1/2 are actively running at the moment)

oneinamillionjj @crunyon037 The reason u prob never thought following others was very important is bcuz for a long time poshers took pride in growing followers without having to follow others. There still are alot who don't want to follow & that's totally fine with us. Everyone is welcome to join in the daily sharing or celebrating of other poshers milestones (which we feature 1-3 days/wk) And yes .. "usually" everyone is so super supportive of one another's growth & success.

However once ppl start to see that when 1 succeeds, she passes it on by sharing or shopping etc we all end up succeeding. So definitely try us out for a week or so if u get the chance & see if it makes a difference in your sales, followers etc.

We do a few price drops alerting players to move their "like" to the new listing & move on from there. You must've missed that. oneinamillionjj @jaspears8632 No thats not a dumb question, you're newer so there's lots of stuff to learn about the app & how it works. There's many ways to gain followers, but about 4yrs ago someone had a theory. That instead of waiting for others to follow you, or by sharing others hoping they'll follow or by blindly following .. that if we follow the followers of accts with lots of followers we can build up our own following twice as fast.

Fast fwd to today I'm at 555k & we run a daily game that implements the following tactic we learned that helps gain followers quickly.
