Here’s a review for the TriStar: - Originally purchased for a family of four and car camping; the tent has been used for serious back packing, and intense remote canoe trips. In every instance the tent has held up brilliantly and has continued to perform well over the years. Only drawback for backpacking is that it is heavy: 10 lbs. However, it can easily accommodate three large adults or two adults and two teens/children and therefore can be split up in parts. The tent has withstood severe weather (an all-night monsoon rain complete with a 45 minute hailstorm in the Pecos Wilderness and easily handled a 2" snow in June, also in the Pecos Wilderness. Breezy - it also works in hot environments. Have had the tent for 12 years or more; still in great shape.
