Vtg Tin Cloth Heavy Canvas Jacket 1940 MI Hunt License Size L Bird Hunting Tan

This is a very old canvas hunting jacket. There is a 1940 Michigan Hunting License sewn to the back of the jacket. It is sewn in large easy to remove stitches if you wish to. What a great piece of history! There is no brand in the jacket. It is heavy tin cloth material. It may have been waxed but due to age it is hard to tell. See photos. The buttons are unique and very old looking. There is a large game pocket in the back. Someone has sewn two large pockets into the inside front of the jacket which may have also been for game. Since there are no tags I am estimating the size to be a large. There are measurements in the photos. The coat has many stains and evidence of hunting. I have not attempted to clean it.
