@rosavida hello I am so glad you received it quickly… It being vintage in nature it might just need a little oil to loosen the pin. I would recommend a cleaning… We just didn't want to change it's natural varnish as some people like that… My husband is the jewelry expert. I will ask him if he has any advice in the morning and get back to you
