Vtg Shawnee Pottery #879 "Burlap" "Wrapped Rope" Vase with Yellow Interior

Midcentury vintage vase with a "Potter Wrapped Rope" matte textured exterior and a glossy yellow glazed interior. This vase has a pleasing tapered shape with a rectangular opening. The Shawnee Pottery Company produced this vase between 1937 and 1961. Base is marked with "Shawnee USA 879." About 9" tall. Pre-loved vintage items may show signs of wear consistent with normal use. I do my best to point out nicks, dings, other imperfections. Vase is in good pre-loved vintage condition but some crazing is visible on the interior glaze. There is a dark area near the rim on one side. These minor imperfections do not detract from the overall midcentury vintage charm of this piece.
