Vtg Plate Steelite International England China

The plates are made by Steelite International England, pattern SLE18, which is now discontinued. The plates are "restaurant quality" having been made for and advertised to restaurants as able to stand up to heavy use. The plates are sturdy and heavily glazed which is probably why they are in such good condition. They are a warm ivory color with a distinctive hexagonal body, embossed art deco trim and painted with a soft pink " featherlike" design in between the embossed Gothic arches.
