Beautiful vintage Mikimoto Akoya saltwater pearl 32" necklace. There are 108 pearls that measure 7.5-6.5mm plus one on the clasp. Clasp is marked with the Mikimoto hallmark and SIL for sterling. Can be worn long, doubled as a choker, or knotted. Pearls are a creamy ivory color with a hint of pink, they are lovely and luminous. Fully knotted on silk, ready to wear. Comes with the new inner and outer Mikimoto boxes shown.

jerryheather122 If you are interested id trade some gold jewelry.. I asked someone else a couple minutes ago but this is a better necklace. I have mens and woman's rings. Or I have a antique solid 14k pocket watch chain and fob thats worth 2500.00 its in brand new condition. I have never traded on posh but a lot of people do and its done through here so everything is safe.

jerryheather122 I have a Leo wedding set in brand new condition. 1ct solitaire thats 9,000 to buy right now and the enhancer was 3500 I'd trade the set, I have it listed. I want to get my wife something nice for our anniversary its our ten year and the jewelry I have for sale means nothing. Its serial numbered by laser on the diamond size 7 and if you bought the set today at Kay Jewelers it would be 14,000

kathioan Where and about when was this purchased? Are you the original owner? Other than the marking on the clasp, how have you determined that this is an authentic Mikimoto strand?

lini10 @kathioan These belonged to my mother. She made several trips to Asia in the 1970's, so I guess she got these then. I really don't know much other than that. I have several of her Mikimoto strands, all of them authentic and all from that time period. The quality is very apparent in person, they are beautiful and luminous. I hope this is helpful.
