Vtg Matchbox Lesney Models of Yesteryear Y-4 Shand Mason Horse Drawn Fire Engine Original Box Scale 63 : 1 This very rare Y-4 Models of Yesterday is from our large collection of all things vintage. The model is in mint condition. The whole piece is bronze. The three black firemen are in white uniforms with red and black helmets. Bronze black horses have white manes and tails with a thin gold harness. The body is red bronze with the number 72 in gold on the frame and "LONDON FIRE BRIGADE" written on both sides in gold as well. The original box is in great shape. The base is brown with one crease. On the back of the box, it gives the history of the Shand Mason Horse Drawn Fire Engine. The front of the box in small red lettering: REGD U.S. PAT. OFF MARCA REGISTRADA "MATCHBOX" REGD. T. M. GB AND ABROAD MADE IN ENGLAND I have researched this model online for quite some time. This model is unique to the color of the horses and the uniforms of the firemen.
