Vtg MCI Japan Blue Bird Floral Gold Porcelain Rice Bowl Brown Rim Hand Painted in very good pre owned vintage condition. Vintage by MCI Japan. Foot has some aging. No chips or cracks. Reign marks on base. Gorgeous large footed hand painted rice bowl. Interior is smooth and glossy. Beautiful shades of blue and white florals along the sides. Gold bottom with bluebird and colorful floral motif. Exterior of bowl is textured in a light and dark blue. Thick and heavy for its size. There is a name for the brown rimmed Japanese bowls, but somehow the name escapes me right now. approx msmts in inches: 6 across rim x 3 height. Just a gorgeous piece!
