You mention that the measurements and size on the tag don’t jive. Do you think it runs big or small? What is the picture with the ruler showing 15” or so reflecting the measurement of?

@adorn_your_soul I'm not sure, I didn't wear it. It measures 17.5 inches at the armpit and there is a bit of elastic at the back.
