Vtg Georg Jensen Sterling Denmark Midnight Blossom 283 Brooch By Arno Malinowski

This is a scarce Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Butterfly brooch number 283. This sweet brooch is 2 1/4 inches in diameter (57mm) and weighs approx. 25 grams. It was designed by Arno Malinowski in the late 1930's and was produced into the 1940's. It's in superb condition, the rollover pin is original and closes tightly. This brooch is fully hallmarked by the Jensen Silversmithy as follows: 1. Georg Jensen in a dotted oval (mark used after 1945) 2. Sterling (.925) 3. Denmark 4. Design number 283
