Vtg. 90's Purple Silk French Crinkle Blouse - sz L

Vtg 90's Purple silk crinkle blouse from France that stretches to & molds to fit your body when worn. 3/4 length sleeves. These blouses were all the rage in the 90s and are really pretty by themselves or worn under a jacket. They are made of specially treated fabric that looks crinkled up and small when off but stretches & molds to the body for a perfect fit when on. They really mold individually to your figure. They came in XS, S, M, L & XL. This one is size L. I bought this one for my MIL as a gift in the 90s, but she never wore it! Someone will be lucky to get it. It is in brand new unused condition. Measurements are of no use as these blouses look small off the body but expand and mold to your figure when you put them on. As a guide the L fits a contemporary size 10 - 12 in American sizing. The mannequin is a size 6 and this blouse is too big for her, but you get the general idea of how it looks. I know how they fit as I worked in a store where we sold them back in the 90s. There are no labels in this top, but they came this way. It is hand washable in cold water, then roll in a towel and lay flat to dry. Very easy to care for and the crinkles make it perfect for traveling. Feels soft and silky when worn.
