Vtg 60's Sulamith Wulfing Dress

Vintage 1960's Sulamith Wulfing handmade maxi dress. Material is polyester, designed in paintings of the artist below. Sleeveless, unlined, zipper and eye hook closure in back. 10 inch slits on sides at ankle, mandarin collar. Sulamith Wülfing was a German artist and  illustrator. The author Michael Folz explains that Wülfing's art was a "realistic reflection of the world she lives in: she has seen the angels and elfin creatures of her paintings throughout her life."
