So retro and yet so classic and timeless! The manufacturer of this beautiful asymmetrical wave salad / fruit bowl serving set is Dolphin, and was hand made in Thailand expressly for R.H. Macy & Co. -- sold at their flagship NYC store in the 1960's. (Dolphin sticker on salad bowl no longer legible). Similar to many of the Danish Dansk MCM teak salad bowl serving set designs by Jens Quistgaard. I grew up with this set and it has been kept in beautiful condition and maintained with mineral oil to preserve the beauty of the wood grain pattern. No chips or cracks.
