Vtg 50s/60s Dorset Rex Fifth Avenue Box Purse~Handbag~Gold Tone~Metal Weave~MCM

Great MCM gold tone metal weaved basket style purse. Thinking metal may be brass, but not 100% sure. Inside with black fabric lining, the lining on inside of lid has come partially unglued. The metal has some scratches & some areas of tarnish. There is a dent in the handle. There is an ‘old’ musty smell~was an estate find that had been stored in trunk for decades.
