These are adorable. One is 2 1/2 in tall and the other is 3 inches tall.
I had all these ideas of what these could be and finally found out that they are votive holders.😄
$120 for both or if you are interested in one please let me know.
If you can see that there is just a small area when you take the covers off.
I’m not sure if they are trinket boxes or an old fashioned use for salt and pepper, when you use the little spoon.
I have searched on line for months on every website and these must be very rare because I cannot find them anywhere.
If anyone has any information and can tell me what these are, I would greatly appreciate
it.😄🌺

@margaret434 You should ask my friend @peeshy101 she knows a lot about teapots and such. These are really pretty. I just like them.

@claudiafeltus these are cool! I started to look them up and got side tracked. my brain is so slow...I think I looked this up for a piece of capodimonte and why it had an open bottom...

@margaret434 are there tiny holes or anything allowing tea to flow out the bottom?

@margaret434 maybe they had a candle warmer on the bottom? The only other thing I've find so far is a small creamer with a hole and one regular side. Not double and it had a spout. It was used for condensed milk and hole made it easy to remove the container from inside. it was to hide it.

@margaret434 and lastly before I forget a potpourri pot that has a candle bottom. It is a copy of some kind because there's no stamp on the bottom unless it has in missing bottom parts. sorry I've asked around too but a little warmer on bottom was my 1st thought.✌🫖☕

@peeshy101 they are just the little parts at the top. Spouts are for show.
You don’t think they could be the old fashioned way they use to have salt and pepper and tiny spoons for them ?

@margaret434 hmmmm maybe thats an idea but then why the bottoms? I wish I'd asked about the spouts haha I hope you could search for that blog and find it that way...mayne even ask a question. Wow that's even more mysterious but puts me back at a warmer at the bottom but small like tea candle 🕯..Hope you get some better info.

@margaret1434 Hi, I have a set of two of the shorter teapot in your picture. Mine have labels on the bottom of each. They are votive holders. Mine came with the candle votive included. I haven’t ever used them, but if I do, I will use battery operated votives for safety reasons. The votives sit inside the rims on top of the teapot. Hope this helps you.
