This voluminous iridescent royal blue high-low skirt is so amazing. It could be formal or playful, and it has a definite retro/vintage inspiration. It's youthful without being immature. It's bold, big, and fun. I just love it! It has pleating at the waist which, combined with the rigidity of the fabric, creates a lot of volume and a distinct and exciting shape. And this fabric (60% polyester, 35% nylon, 5% spandex) is soft and has movement, despite being so structured. This skirt really catches light and the color is rich with a lot of depth. It closes with an 8" zipper on the left side and has serged hems. Judging from the tags, I think it's from around the year 2000. It's very late 90s or Y2K.
