Vintage Siam Niello silver screw back earrings. Siam silver is a type of jewelry started in Thailand. It was started in the 30’s and stopped in 70’s. Niello is the art of filling a carved out section of sterling silver and filling it with a black compound made of sulfur , copper , silver and lead. Then it’s polished to a high shine. These are also signed. All hand made by talented artists of the past.
