Vintage 80’s Lee Sands Hawaii Mother of Pearl Inlay Lion Necklace

Collectible black and white inlay Lion Head by 80’s designer Lee Sands out of Hawaii. Mother of Pearl shell and perhaps black coconut shell. the twisted rope is of mother of Pearl shell chips and black coconut shell heishi. Dramatic and eye catching - this Lion motif was one of his most well-known and popular. Approximately 25” with lion head adding additional ~3.25” drop. Excellent vintage condition with mild wear consistent with age. Please see all photos as these are part of the description and give best idea of condition and size. There are natural variations in the shell and heishi - expected with genuine natural materials. Strung on poly cord (like fishing line) with gold tone end caps and silver tone hook clasp. 40+ years old.
