Vintage wood wooden veneer leather hinged box with metal clasp closure round top

A beautiful box (unknown maker/vintage) of wood and leather with metal accents. I haven't been able to find out anything about it. The rounded top and front/back have leather panels in dark blue that appear to read Parelle. The exterior wood appears to be veneer, and there is metal hardware for accents (possibly brass). It shows wear from age but is still a gorgeous piece. Lined on the inside. Measures 8x5.5x4.5". Smoke- and pet-free home.
