Channeling your inner Mary Tyler Moore these days? Well look no further than this listing, cuz Mary would surely have worn this outfit to WSTM, a lot! Vintage 1970’s wool blend leisure suit with short sleeved mock turtleneck. Pants have a side zipper and button, well flared legs, darts front and back and a raised seam feature down the front. Jacket is CPO style, with two buttons on each (generously sized) cuff and all the way down the front, includes one breast patch pocket on the left side. The mock turtleneck had short sleeves and a back zipper, with a tag that says “100% Rayon” and another ILGUW tag. Leisure suit itself has no tags, but is commercially produced, not hand sewn. Material is a brown, hunter green (leaning just a tad towards teal), rust and beige on a cream background, done in a very 70’s mod version of a glen plaid. No fabric content is listed on the pants or jacket, but it feels like a wool/poly blend. No sizes on anything, but I’m a 12 and I can’t zip the pants, so maybe an 8? Happy to provide further measurements if desired. The collar is large but not outlandish, and the sizing of the jacket is generous, no darts, straight cut to the CPO jacket hem.
