Vintage women's army jacket

This is a vintage women’s army jacket. Judging by the material I would say not as old as WW2, but I have no idea. It is definitely the same style as a WW2 jacket, but I don’t know much about the army and I assume they used that pattern for a long time. There is the size 16R on the tag but I would say it fits about an 8. I'm a 6 and it's just a little bit big. It has no visible damage and is in perfect condition. I am also very open to offers so feel free to make one!
