Vintage very early 2000’s Island Tropics Resort Wear dress, 3X

I bought this dress in Honolulu sometime around 2000-2002 (excuse me while my brain struggles with the fact that something that feels like last week is “vintage”). We were going to a very nice restaurant, and the mostly shorts I’d packed wouldn’t cut it. I found this beautiful dress with its orange and white tropical flowers on a soft blue background, but my favorite part is that the entire fabric is embossed with little pineapples. I’ve tried to photograph them; they’re very subtle. The dress pulls over the head and is designed to wear loosely. It’s size 3X, and 100% rayon. It can be washed by hand or machine. All measurements are approximate and are taken while the garment is laid flat. Hem to shoulder 44” Hem to neckline 42” Pit to pit 24.5” Sleeve from armpit seam 3”
