Vintage velvet pencil skirt

Vintage black velvet pencil skirt. 100% cotton. Tag says size 9, but please see measurements above for a more accurate fit. In my opinion it fits more of a small/medium. And fits more like a modern day size 4. Velvet is a black color, but does have a chocolate brown undertone, so it would work with both colorways. In good condition for its age, but does have very minor signs of wear on the interior bottom hem. Could use a couple of new stitches. Definitely still wearable as it is. Front waist opening is secured with two buttons on either side. Faux pockets open up into interior skirt. See photos for styling ideas and how to wear.
