Vintage style butterfly pendant

The item has not been tested but looks to me like aluminum. there is some pitting but it's not real noticeable unless you're up close at least to me it's not noticeable. super cute even the barrel is not attracted to magnet so this is why I assume it's aluminum because it's not real shiny it has that dull color from aluminum and I'm almost positive it's probably vintage you just don't see anything like this and I couldn't find anything comparable off the internet. there is no Maker's Mark on it or any mark to say what type of metal it's made out of.
