Vintage silver plated casserole serving spoon with gold-washed bowl

I am selling this large smooth casserole serving spoon, silver plated, and made by Wallace Silversmiths. The pattern is Virginia, which was introduced in 1898. This serving utensil is ideal for serving casseroles, hotdishes, and vegetable dishes. Its scalloped decorations around the edge of the gold-washed bowl give it a unique touch of elegance. This serving piece is silverplated, sturdy and substantive. It is stamped 1835 R WALLACE A1 on the back of the handle and is not monogrammed. It is in good vintage condition, with light scratches consistent with years of use. It is freshly polished, with some patina left for character. Sold as is, please refer to photos for condition.
