Vintage silver and copper Mexican butterfly brooch

Lovely mid century butterfly brooch from the Taxco, Mexico mining region.
It is a three-dimensional butterfly made of silver and copper. This technique is called "metales casados", or "married metals."

Measures approx 1-1/4" wide x 1-1/4" tall x 3/4" deep.

Bottom is imprinted METALES CASADOS HECHO EN MEXICO
Clasp works perfectly. There is a bit of tarnish.
