Vintage silk satin wedding dress

I loved wearing this dress - it made me feel amazing and was so comfortable all day as well as being nicely figure-hugging. I also loved having a one-of-a-kind bespoke creation with the Rolling in Roses signature boho vibe. This is a stunning custom-made Rolling in Roses 'Katie-Lou' dress - I chose to replace the original devore silk on the Katie-Lou with lace on the bodice, a lowered V neck back and full length lace sleeves. As on the original Katie-Lou, it's cut from bias-draped 100% silk satin and the underbust seam is cut high like an empire line at the front, sloping downwards to give a very flattering fit. I kept the original pearl buttons and loops for fastening on the back, and added the same onto the sleeves to match. It has a modest but still dramatic train, with wrist loop and ribbon ties so it can be carried around easily or neatly tied up for dancing the night away! Fully lined with a breathable mixed silk/bamboo charmeuse satin. Please note that although the dress has been dry-cleaned, the train is a little grubby from the dancefloor and our photoshoot on the Whitstable beach - you wouldn't notice when on though. The train might also need pressing as it's a little rumpled from being in storage.
