Vintage rock owl bookend figurine

A vintage rock owl bookend or just a figurine. I'm not sure what type of rock it is, maybe agate? It's made of beautiful swirled gray rock. Just over 6in tall. Has a very small chip on the back of the ears, see last photo. Not noticeable unless looking at the back closely.
