These 5 button fly Levi jeans have a story. Bought by my sister in 1996 when we were in LA (shopping vintage stores on Melrose). She paid almost $200 for them because they were such a rare vintage pair. The hem is tapered down. The denim is thick and tough.... But not hard or uncomfortable. They are in VERY good condition. She went to get rid of them about 9 years ago. I held on to them because of the vintage value.

lifeinstiches You should check these out on pricing because they are rare a few especially if they are ditched with red thread sell for up to $1000 not kidding look around to see how rare they are. You might want to change your mind. Just trying to help you out👍😘

I want to sell them. I have no need to be greedy and try for a huge price. I want them to go to a good lover of the brand and vintage. I honestly would never had known the worth. kimsthings @bkrome I had them authenticated actually. They were purchased by my sister in LA as vintage at the time in the mid 90s! I took them to an upscale vintage place that also deals with Levi’s to be sure. They are probably worth close to 1k at this point.

lifeinstiches @kimsthings - I changed my closet name but this is hotpantsrhoads. Levi’s company themselves if you go on their website have a lot of information they also buy them back from people and yes for what they’re worth now. I do hope that you did not sell them for what you have them listed for and if you do have them go on Levi’s site. That’s how I find a lot of the information on stitching to look for and what they purchase back. They also do authenticate everything.

lifeinstiches @kimsthings - I did notice that your closet was on vacation so I didn’t think he would see this right away but yes the last time I checked on there they were buying them depending on the age but they are pretty good with verifying everything and usually try to buy them back for the company. If for some reason they already have a pair that they don’t want to buy them they could at least give you more information🤗 let me know how it goes.
