Vintage psychedelic beaded peacock bag

Amazing 1960s vintage psychedelic faux beaded bag with a stunning peacock design in bright, bold colours. This large bag is so unique and I've never seen anything quite as bold. This particular 'faux beading' style was very popular in the 1960s and was often used on smaller purses and evening bags. The 'beads' are stuck onto the material giving it the look and feel of a real beaded item, with staying power. It was also a way to create very complex designs easily. Bag has two transparent brown plastic handles and no opening closure. Lined with a black acetone type fabric. Stunning piece that needs to be seen!
