Vintage pre1940 half gallon Wildroot hair tonic barber supply green glass bottle

This beautiful green glass bottle is in pristine condition but missing the lid. it is a half gallon Wildroot hair tonic bottle that was sold to barber shops. The bottle has decorative lines in the sides and wildroot on the bottom. This tonic was alcohol based from it's introduction until the company switched to a lanolin based cream when WWII caused alcohol to be rationed around 1940. The bottle measures approximately 10"H x 5"W.
