Vintage ornamental pin

Grandma purchased this lovely unique pin not quite sure where or when but I know she loved to barter with vendors! Sizing varies somewhat as it has high and low points. Deep purple stone, silver tone setting. There is a marking in the back which I can’t figure out but is legible in last photo. Fabulous piece in super condition!!
