rnheininger @ethelkirby there is not a tear around the collar the collar came unattached in the area where the picture is posted. There is a small tear in the lining. No fur is affected

rnheininger I have sent you all the photos. It absolutely can be repaired. Those are the only 2 flaws. I have kept in in my closest which is good storage. If you are concerned I would contact a seamstress and show the pictures and confirm they can fix. It is a wonderful piece
