Vintage merino sweater

Amazing vintage sweater or possibly base layer? Beautiful pattern, 100% merino wool paisley and rose pattern in a deep burgundy and dark blue. Brand says Valerie Stevens and appears to be a medium but it seems larger and is very long and cozy. Great condition. My home is smoke-free and pet free but I did get used and seems to have a few white dog hairs here and there that I’ve been removing as I see them!
