Vintage lucite abalone cabochon earrings 1950s 60s

Vintage 1950s 1960s clip earrings cabochon Abalone These unmarked little costume earrings are clip style, 1950s or 1960s, pewter toned metal set with what appears to be Lucite embedded with abalone shell - I honestly can't tell which. They are unmarked. They have a lovely warm iridescence to them with primarily green and orange "fire" going on. Each earring weighs appx 1/4 ounce.  The clip findings have little rubber protectors in them and could be replaced or removed if desired.
