Vintage letter opener, detailed carvings

Vintage letter opener/Approximately 70+ years old. This was my grandmother‘s and was probably used in the late 40’s…early 50’s. Notice the intricate detail on the old woman’s face. It really is amazing work. The little head wrap is also very detailed.
