Another of my mother's treasures. This is a vintage Givenchy bag with strap that can be tucked inside to be carried as a clutch. Body is in great vintage cond. but Pic 5 & 6 show main issues. Pic 5 shows inside of front flap where the strap attached. The leather strap is very weak there as well as small cracks on inside edge. Pic 6 shows a hardening/rough edge on leather above the logo fob. I guess because it's old(?). Such a classy piece despite imperfections. More pics avail. Continued below.

(Cont) As far as age I know it can't be older than late 70's because the closure is magnetic. Those were patented in '74 I believe so I think this one is during the time of the Signature Collection during early 80's. That's my best guess as far as age. It is not cheaply done and has quality feel but I am not sure how else to authenticate. I don't believe these were widely counterfeited that long ago though.
