Vintage hummingbird-print dress -- $45

This 100% cotton dress was obviously made at home by a skilled seamstress. Likely made in the early 1960s, the dress is in excellent vintage condition. When I bought it about 15 years ago, the hook on top of the zipper and the back button were missing, so I added both a hook and the red flower button (seemed appropriate for the hummingbird theme!). The dress is charming and I love it still, but it no longer fits me. I wore the dress with red sandals and a red short cardigan. You could also wear it with an orange or lime-green cardi, and it would look equally charming. Poshmark's formatting doesn't allow me to show the full length of the dress, so I've showed the top of the front and back, including the waist seam, and then a photo from just above the waist to the hem of the skirt. I hope this helps you visualize the dress. I’d estimate size 6 in modern sizes. Measurements: · Waist, laid flat: 15” · Bust, measured around: ~ 36.5” (I measured the back, which is flat, then carefully measured the front, which has darts.) · Length, shoulder to hem: 38.5” I have washed the dress twice, each time by hand in mild hand-wash liquid.
