Vintage green stone and gold bracelet.

I am not a certified gemologist, however my older family friend hardly ever bought anything that wasn’t real therefore my hunch is that this is jade. It is marked China, but she did travel a lot so I’m not sure. It appears to be good or gold plated. They recall buying it sometime between 1978-1984 ((due to her travel catalog)).
