designingdeb @mixedbrew I have two of these from my grandmother who lived in SF. She worked for a very high end store and ‘dressed’ movie stars and wealthy women. These were very hot and I see them coming back! It’s such a great look and the pearl color is awesome!!

designingdeb @mixedbrew my grandmother’s still has one earring with a bandaid! I think there’s a finding to convert them for pierced ears. So funny that even in the 1960’s ‘nice girls’ didn’t pierce their ears! I fainted!! Probably because my mother wouldn’t let me so my dad took me! I still remember not being able to wear pants to school! Jewelry is such a piece of history!! Always a story to it!

mixedbrew @designingdeb I’m 62 and just got my ears pierced 2 months ago! My father, whose been dead 15 years, forbade me to get them pierced when I was a girl. I’m so glad I finally decided to “rebel” and get them pierced!

designingdeb @mixedbrew that is so funny!! Plus he took me to some weird clinic that was creepy. When the doc pieced the second one he said ‘oops I missed!’ Out I went!! Five years between us! Have you always loved jewelry?
