Vintage enameled compact by Marie Earle

This is a vintage enameled Marie Earle makeup compact. This is estimated as being 1940s-1950s. The Marie Earle company ceased to manufacture in 1970. This compact is in good Preloved condition. The back does show vintage wear and has some discoloration/scratches. ( does not detract IMO.) The mirror has makeup residue on the edges where it was closed with powder. ( should clean up) . There is a bit makeup/loose powder still in the compact which can be removed. A little piece of history !
