Vintage early 1960’s Rare Greta Italian Trompe L’oeil velveteen carpet handbag

Very RARE Vintage early 1960’s Greta handbag made in Italy in EXCELLENT condition! This bag is gorgeous & is the only one like it on the entire web! I’ve looked high and low so I challenge you to find another available :). The handbag is contrast colored in a deep emerald green and light greige (gray/beige) in a soft, buttery velvet fabric. Features a front snap closure with a trompe l'oeil lock design that adds to it’s texture & glamour. Perfect as a clutch, however, it also has removable twist straps which can convert to either a longer crossbody, or doubled up to become a shoulder bag. The Interior is a bright yellow leather with Greta Italy stamped logo. Has one interior zippered compartment, one open flat pocket and a coordinating snap front change purse.
