Vintage doily handmade, crochet bells design about 12 inches diagonal

Probably cotton, needs a little spot cleaning. Does anyone remember what doilies are anymore? I do when I was eight years old. I always saw them on the back of chairs , that was in the mid 50s. I liked this one because my middle name is Bell and it has a design of bells. Needs TLC, This is probably from the 40s/50s.
