This is a beautiful denim skirt from the late 1970s. Sewen inside the waistband of this skirt is the International Ladies Garment Works Union label, among others. The union label shows that the skirt was a well-made piece of clothing, made in the USA, in a factory of unionized workers that had to meet exacting standards before being allowed out for sale. The sides of this skirt have an inlay of dark blue velveteen with the waist being of the same velveteen. Three quilted patches are sewn on this skirt near the bottom for aesthetics purposes only, there are no holes or other issues with the skirt. The skirt was shortened with a 3-inch adjustment so it can be lengthened again. Currently, the skirt is 38 inches long. The size tag inside states that it is size 13 Junior and 100% cotton. There are six pearlized snaps on the back of the skirt. The waistband shows little to no wear and is in great shape. It would be a great acquisition for anyone interested in period dress.

Hello,
This is gorgeous. Great description! Because it's not modern day, is there a waist measurement available? Thanks very much.
