Michiyuki were traditionally worn over the kimono to help protect it from the outside elements. The square neckline helps to show off the kimono underneath. Michiyuki have an invisible front pocket on the right side. It can be worn as a minidress and looks cute with a belt and leggings! I've marked as a large but it can fit a range of sizes, especially if you wear it as a shirt with Western skirt beneath as this helps if you cannot fully close over your hips.
